Making Charlie Ours

Got our pictures hung. We had not seen any of these for years and years. Mireille found them as we were going through boxes scanning pictures and throwing stuff away as part of our downsizing. We had them framed with the intent of hanging them in Charlie. From front to back you can see two prints we bought on our honeymoon, one of maple sugar time the other of the Chateau Frontenac. Maple leaves Mireille picked up at her family’s chalet and pressed when she was there roughly 15+ years ago, and on the back wall are two sketches of the kids when they were on the ferry in Quebec. We have plans to replace the standard picture on the wall by the fridge, but we haven’t gotten to that yet.
The cool thing about this is that we had these framed after we had ordered Charlie but before we ever saw him for the first time. We cannot get over how well the frames and colors blend with the interior. It must have been meant to be.
Oh, one other thing;
Black Command Strips, not white. Trust me on this!
